This painting is my ode to my fashionista, (Missoni stripes) little chick (whose is about 7” taller than me) She is strong and long legged with curly hair and creative beyond.
Lapwings are known for protecting what you care for to the point of even putting yourself in danger, boldness, defending your right to make mistakes, it's okay to make mistakes, connection to the Winter Solstice, imperfection, perfect imperfection, in the spirit of trying, irritability, wetland wisdom, caring for others intensely.
